CCTV cameras are monitored 24 hours a day for alerts through advanced motion detection or AI algorithms that detect activity at a client’s premises. Alerts are received in the Manguard Plus Command and Control Centre where an operator immediately views site cameras to detect the cause for the alert. The operator monitors the activity and follows an agreed response protocol.

CCTV monitoring is provided by scheduled patrols or by response to alerts. All CCTV cameras are checked for functionality daily. Any CCTV cameras not operating are reported to the designated point of contact for the business.

If a premises alarm activates the Manguard Plus operator can view the CCTV where the alarm activated providing immediate eyes on the situation while a patrol response is initiated.
