Manguard Plus’ Sponsorship Deal As Kildare Masters GAA Continues To Master The League!
The Kildare Gaelic Masters Team received a massive boost this week, with the announcement that Manguard Plus has signed a three-year sponsorship deal with the intercounty over 40’s Team.
The Gaelic Masters was established to promote and encourage players over 40 years of age to participate and continue playing football with their respective Counties beyond the age of 40.
The sponsorship by Manguard Plus for the Kildare Gaelic Masters football panel will provide a much-needed injection of profile and financial assistance for the Team which is enjoying huge success this season, and is currently top of the All Ireland Championship league table having won all their four outings to date.
Speaking at the announcement at Allenwood GAA Club, Noel Casey, Manager of the Kildare Gaelic Masters said
“This kind of support is what we have dreamt about. Manguard Plus is known the length and breadth of the country for the huge generosity and genuine support it offers to sporting teams and communities. The three years deal we have struck with Manguard Plus will enable us to kit the team out to the level of any Inter County senior team in the Country. It will enable us to participate and compete in playing games up and down the country and continue our upward trajectory. We are delighted with it and know that with Manguard Plus’s support we will thrive”.
“The Kildare GAA Masters is a wonderful outlet for men who have always wanted to indulge their passion for playing with their Counties, it just proves that you’re never too old. The Masters motto nationally is: “We don’t stop playing because we grow old – We grow old because we stop playing “. The Lads who are coming to play now have looked after themselves well, they know the importance of fitness and they want to keep fit both mentally and physically”.
Kildare’s Manguard Plus deal comes on the back of four consecutive championship victories. “We are flying it, and that is good for morale. Manguard Plus involvement now is the proverbial ‘icing on the cake’ for the Kildare Masters GAA Team ” said Selector Tadgh O’ Beaglaoich.
“Our next game is at home Vs Dublin in Milltown GAA Pitch this Saturday July 9th at 2pm throw in .
Managing Director of Manguard Plus, Seán Hall says “The Masters is a wonderful initiative and one that Manguard Plus is delighted to be associated with. We think carefully about our many sporting sponsorship arrangements, and work to align our company ethos with that of the sports organisation. The Kildare Gaelic Masters is an ideal partner for us as the organisation has been working tirelessly to encourage and support players over the age of 40 to get involved in GAA. The Masters gives opportunities for people, who otherwise may have always harboured a desire to play but never got the chance, to now tog out and play for their county. They may have been busy with work and family commitments, lots of different reason, but may now have the time to devote to playing. I think it’s brilliant and does wonders for morale, health, both physical and mental and camaraderie. As a company Manguard Plus is long recognised for supporting sport in Kildare and indeed in Ireland as a whole, as we passionately believe it does wonders for both the players and the wider community. It knits a community together and we are always happy to see that. We are delighted to enter into a three Year sponsorship deal with Noel and the Kildare Masters and long may they prosper. We’re off to a flying start as they are currently top of the table, so it’s fair to say that Kildare are mastering The Masters!!”.
