The Job
Position- Security Officer
Location – Dun Laoghaire
Shift Pattern- various shift patterns covering days / evenings / weekends
Salary: €12.05 per hour
Job Description :
Full-time, days and nights, weekends included
Shifts will be Saturday and Sunday Day & Monday and Tuesday night shift
This is not a retail site, officers are required to patrol the shopping mall and deal with
general public enquires.
Duties and responsibilities:
• To provide a professional service and ensure total client satisfaction.
• Dealing with emergencies and liaising with Gardaí if necessary.
• Report all incidents, accidents and emergencies.
• Regular Health & Safety Checks of all areas.
• To provide an open and consistent communication interface between the Client and
Management.
• To be fully aware of all emergency and evacuation procedures.
• Other reasonable duties that may be assigned from time to time.
• Fully adhere to onsite procedures and policies.
• Using CCTV systems.
Skills and experience required:
• Have a valid PSA license.
• Previous experience working as a Security Officer.
• Valid GNIB/IRP card if non-EEA National.
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills
• Ability to work under own initiative essential.
• Ability to handle typical and crisis situations efficiently and effectively.
