We had the great honour recently of welcoming some of the brilliant unit members from the Irish Army Ranger Wing (ARW) to our headquarters in Naas. The ARW is the Special Operations Force of Ireland, known for its professionalism, resilience, and relentless pursuit of excellence.
These individuals recently represented our nation with distinction at the CTC (Combat Team Conference) held in Germany. Amidst the international stage of 48 Special Operations Forces, they made Ireland shine by securing an impressive 4th place in two of the events. Their performance was not just a testament to their indomitable spirit, but also a reflection of the calibre of Irish SOF.
We had the opportunity to support this team during their journey, and we are not just impressed, but inspired by their dedication and camaraderie. They truly embody the spirit of teamwork, tenacity, and courage, which are values that resonate deeply with us at Manguard Plus.
The motto of the Army Ranger Wing is taken from an old Fianna poem, in Irish it is: “Glaine ár gcroí, Neart ár ngéag, Agus beart de réir ár mbriathar”, which translates as: “The purity of our hearts, the strength of our limbs and our commitment to our promise”.
